In a stroke of good fortune, Nimba’s founder, Kim, had recently been working with the charity in a different capacity. “We really got on well, and I liked the way she worked,” Mary says. “I asked her if she could take over, and she said that she could.”
When we started working with Mary, her systems and processes were getting the job done, but there was a lot of room for improvement. We worked closely with Mary to streamline the charity’s financial systems, creating efficiencies and making life easier for Mary and her team.
“Nimba has completely reformed our financial process,” Mary says. “It’s completely different now, in a totally good way. We couldn’t function the way we do now without the input that we get from Nimba, it’s brought our systems into the 21st century instead of the 19th century!”
Mary knows that she can rely on us to ensure the charity’s reporting and compliance requirements are met, and that we’ll be there to help when she needs us.
“I find [the Nimba team] really easy to get on with, and they’re really onto it,” she says. “As soon as I need something, I just ring up, and it’s no problem at all.”
“That personal touch has been really, really beneficial. You feel like you know the people well, they’re really accessible and amenable, and it’s just really nice.”
